Waialae Baptist Church 1047 21st Avenue, Honolulu, HIJoin us for our Easter Worship Service at 10 a.m. on April 4, 2021. After the service, we will have an egg hunt for children 12 and under on the playground and be offering free family photo sessions. Cosmic Bowling
Aiea Bowl 99-115 Aiea Heights Drive, Suite 310, Aiea, HIApril 10 from 3-5 p.m. at Aiea Bowl Cost: $10 for youth (subsidized). $25 for others. Cost includes 2 hours of lane reservations and shoe rental. You can pay with cash or credit card. “Real bowlers” are invited to help some of the youth and others who want to learn to bowl. RSVP by Thursday 4/8 at noon. Aiea Bowl requires 48-hour advance reservations. Contact Stacy before registering if it is past the deadline. There may be a few spaces available. Teaching Your Children Truth – Parent Discipleship Conference

The percentage of Christian young people who abandon the faith once they graduate from high school is increasingly dramatically. What can you do to help? At this conference, Richard Ross will help families learn · the necessity of strong heart connections (relationships) between parents and their children · how these heart connections become damaged even in Christian homes · how to restore damaged connections and center parent-child relationships on Jesus Christ and God’s Word We invite families to come and learn how to prepare the next generation to walk in faith for a lifetime and daily join King Jesus in fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission for the glory of God. Richard Ross has served as professor of youth ministry in the Jack D. Terry School of Educational Ministries since 2000. His entire life has focused on seeing Christ glorified in the lives of teenagers and their parents and leaders. He served as a local-church youth minister for 30 years. Overlapping part of that time was 16 years of service as the youth ministry consultant at LifeWay Christian Resources. Ross prepared for investment in the lives of teenagers through bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees. He has written over 20 books related to teenagers, youth leaders, and parents of teenagers. Each year he speaks and preaches in over 40 churches, conferences, and conventions. God whispered the idea for the True Love Waits movement to Jimmy Hester and Richard Ross.
