We believe our Church should be a reflection of the love and glory of God that is given to us from God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is our Savior and Lord, and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who unites as one body in Christ and empowers us to obey God and serve others.
OUR VISION
The vision of Wai’alae Baptist Church is to fulfill its mission by
- Holding and teaching the Bible as the supreme authority in all matters.
- Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed throughout the world beginning in our community.
- Worshipping the triune God together and individually.
- Uniting as a community of believers in Jesus Christ marked by a spirit of grace and humility.
- Discipling and being discipled as believers in Jesus Christ submitted to His Lordship.
- Equipping and being equipped to minister to one another in love.
- Serving the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
OUR MISSION
The Mission of our church is:
Fulfill the Great Commission | Saving Souls:
Making disciples in all nations bringing glory to God (Mt. 28:18-20)
Obey the Greatest Commandment | Walk in Love:
To love God and to love all people (Mt. 22:37-40)
Be United in the Spirit | Change The World:
Reveal that Jesus is the Son of God sent by the Father to be the Lord and Savior of the world. (Jn. 17:20-21)
