    This conference is for our senior adults and their care takers. We will be covering a plethora of topics, all related to senior adults. These topics will range from planned giving, walking through grief, transitions, caring for family members, end of life care and finishing well. We hope that you can join us for this conference on June 18-19, 2021. This conference will be held in-person at Wai’alae Baptist Church and online for those who wish to view from home.   • Joy Cafe – Women’s Fellowship

    Please join us at Joy Cafe, for our women’s fellowship on July 10 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the fellowship hall. Joy Cafe is a time for women and teens of all ages get to deepen and strengthen each other in the joy of the Lord. Sign up in the foyer, online or call the office to let us know that you are coming.   • Family Camp

    Bellows Air Force Station 220 Tinker Rd, Waimanalo, HI, United States

    Cost: $15 per youth, $20 per adult (includes campsite fees, Saturday lunch & dinner, activities); scholarships are available. Deadline to sign up: August 19, 2021. Limited space available for overnight campers. We will accept registrations until camp space is full. Please fill out one registration form per family. Children under the age of 11 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. A responsible adult will need to supervise any swimming activity. The key pillar of trauma-informed care is the development of “safety and connection” for all people based on strategies that incorporate science and in the case of Hawaiʻi, the inclusion of culture. Trauma affects everyone. As Christians, we need to find healing in understanding our own trauma as well as to become healers by understanding the effects of trauma on others. He is also the Director of Project Development for the Partners in Development Foundation (PIDF), a non-profit Native Hawaiian organization providing educational, social service, and environmental programming through Native Hawaiian cultural values and traditions. In 2007, Mr. Goya created the first Two-gen mobile homeless family education program for children living on the Leeward Coast of Oahu, called the Ka Pa’alana Homeless Family Education Program. Although apologetics is important for all Christians, many believers feel they are not prepared to defend their faith with facts and well-reasoned arguments. To help equip more Christians with the tools of apologetics, the Alec and Belle Waterhouse Lecture Series will be hosting a conference from September 17-18.
