Discussion Questions for How He Loves Us – To Show Us God

We encourage you to discuss today’s sermon with your family (including your children if they are with you) or join an online discussion. Part of which Jesus came to do is to show us who God is. We need to know not only how much God loves us, but how He loves us. Every time we learn about who God is we learn more about who we – the ones created in the image of God – are to be.

What are some of the things that Jesus showed us about who God is? Think about all that He has done – beginning with becoming human and living with us all the way to His death on the cross and resurrection.

Which ones of these things can we show in our lives as Christians? How can we show them?

Ultimately, the Bible tells us that we reveal who God is when we show His unconditional, sacrificial, perfect love for one another (see 1 John 4:12) What are some very specific ways that you can do that even now during this pandemic?
